APB Parents and Players,

We are happy to announce that due to the modified guidance by the state and decrease in COVID-19 cases we are able to move forward with our Spring 2021 Season.  

An overview of the next steps are:

ASSESSMENTS
They were held the weekend of February 27 and 28 (except for Shetland and Foal).  Make-up assessments are Monday at 4PM at Lupin Elementary School.

REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT
Registration and payment is required by Thursday, March 4 to avoid the $50 late fee.  For those of you that pre-registered please login and officially complete the registration including paying registration fees to avoid the late charge.   

Please note that we will be creating the spring season teams by March 5.  If you register after this date you cannot be guaranteed to be on placed on a team.  If you have not registered yet please go to https://www.agouraponybaseball.org/Default.aspx?tabid=1170247.  Please email [email protected] with any questions.

PRACTICES AND GAMES
 - Practices will start for teams the week of Monday, March 8.
 - Games will start the weekend of March 20 (Pinto, Mustang, Bronco, Pony) and March 27 (Foal and Shetland) 
 - Games Locations will be more at Lupin Hill Elementary more than other years.  We will not be playing games with neighboring leagues other than for Mustang American, Bronco American and Pony American.  All other divisions will play at our home fields only.  We did this to better control scheduling and focus on the needs of our local league.

COVID-19 SAFETY PROCEDURES
 - Games and Practices - We will be finalizing the COVID practice and gameday protocols by March 10 but these will include mask requirements, attendance requirements, who the designed contact for the league will be, etc.
 - Current Practice COVID Protocols - For any activities before March 8 we will be following what we have done for the pre-season practices which is only one parent (preferably none) attending, no siblings, proper social distancing, masks required at all times for parents, players and coaches and temperature check-in at front gate.  We do not allow sunflower seeds or peanuts. 

OPENING DAY AND PICTURE DAY 
 - Opening Day will be virtual and will be the evening of March 26.  More details to follow. 
 - Picture Day will Sunday, April 25 and will be individual photos only.  The free league package will be a individual photo that will be digital only and available online (via password) for download.  There will be no papers used on picture day and anyone that needs to order an additional package will do it online and not via a paper form.

2021 SEASON REFUND POLICY
Our Refund Policy for the Spring 2021 Season is as follows:
 - Less than 25% of scheduled games played - 75% refund (less uniform costs)
 - 25% to 49% of scheduled games played - 50% refund (less uniform costs)
 - 50 of scheduled games played - 0% refund

TEAM BASED PRACTICES
All credit card refunds for the partially held pre-season team based practices have been processed ($25 for Foal / Shetland; $40 for all other divisions.
We will have the final pre-season team based practices the weekend of March 6 and 7.  We know the kids had fun with their current groups and we look forward the permanent season teams.
