Agoura Pony Baseball needs qualified, dedicated people to work as umpires. 

Umpiring is open to anyone ages 13+ (eligible to play in the Pony division in Spring 2024) and new umpires can be YOUTHS or ADULTS. To become an umpire, you must attend our FREE umpire training classes that begin in January.  We take great pride in our umpire development program that is conducted by our chief and senior umpires who mentor our youth umps. 

We schedule you according to your experience and availability, and you can earn good money.  Each season, several kids make more than $500 during the season!

You don't have to have been a player, but you should have a basic knowledge of baseball. 

New umpires must purchase their jersey, cap, ball bag and clicker but will be fully reimbursed by the League after they umpire five games. For all meetings, please bring a notebook and pencil/pen.

All meetings will start PROMPTLY at 7:30 PM.  For the first meeting, please show up early so we can sign people in.
