In accordance with the strict guidelines of the County of Los Angeles and LVUSD, we are able to conduct clinics (modified practices) at Lupin.  Our goal is to get the APB players back out on the fields safely!

The key info is below:

SCHEDULE FOR WEEK 5
This is for the morning session on Saturday, October 31. The times are:
  • Pinto - 9:15 AM to 10:45 AM
  • Mustang - 9:30 AM to 11:15 AM
  • Bronco - 9:45 AM to 11:45 AM
  • Pony - 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM

This is for the afternoon session on Saturday, October 31. The times are:
  • Pinto - 12:45 PM to 2:15 PM
  • Mustang - 12:30 PM to 2:15 PM
  • Bronco - 12:15 PM to 2:15 PM
  • Pony - 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM

This is for the afternoon session on Monday, November 2. The times are:
  • Pinto - 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM
  • Mustang - 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM
  • Bronco - 3:45 PM to 5:30 PM
  • Pony - 3:45 PM to 5:30 PM

  • Pinto - 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM
  • Mustang - 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM
  • Bronco - 3:45 PM to 5:30 PM
  • Pony - 3:45 PM to 5:30 PM

WHAT THEY ARE
  • These will be called a “skills clinic” and are free and open to those coaches and players who were registered for our Spring 2020 season.
  • These will be run by the league managers/coaches...so we need coaches to volunteer for these SELF GUIDED clinics..  Please volunteer online when you sign up your player to participate.
  • These clinics are to be developmentally focused. Each coaching group will be provided with a list of the specific skills expected to be addressed at each clinic.  As related at no times can scrimmages be played as it is prohibited by county guidelines. 
  • Each clinic will have 2 coaches and 1 monitor.   

WHEN THEY ARE
  • Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays until the week before Thanksgiving.
  • Registration for each session will be on a week. by week basis.  Each session requires a brief registration on our website as we have retained your other information from your spring registration - https://www.agouraponybaseball.org/Default.aspx?tabid=1170247

WHO THEY ARE FOR
  • Pinto, Mustang, Bronco and Pony (No Shetland at this time) - As of the next season's (Spring 2021 age - as of 8/31/21)
  • Players that were registered for the Agoura Pony Baseball Spring 2020 season 
  • 10 Players per slot including 2 coaches and one parent monitor (to assist with adherence of guidelines)
  • Players can attend only 1 clinic per week. 
  • If you register but do not show up for 2 practice clinics you will not be eligible to attend others as we have waiting lists for many of the slots

WHAT MUST YOU DO
  • For Players = Register on the League Sports Connect Site as an participant of a specific session here - https://www.agouraponybaseball.org/Default.aspx?tabid=1170247 (PLEASE NOTE THAT IT WILL SAY THAT YOU ARE ON A WAITING LIST WHEN YOU HAVE BEEN SUCCESSFULLY REGISTERED)
  • For Coaches = Register on the League Sports Connect Site as a Volunteer (and your player as an attendee) for a specific session (each day / time is a separate session). 
  • Take the online COVID-19 screening questionnaire (https://bit.ly/APB_COVIDscreen) the day of the clinic (that is all you need to do).  If you answer any questions as "yes" you are ineligible to attend that day.
  • Have you temperature taken at the field before entry
  • Bring your own water
  • No Sunflower seeds!
  • Not share equipment including bats and helmets
  • Wear a mask at all times as a parent and/or coach
  • Wear a mask to and from the clinic field as a player
  • Keep proper social distancing including the players of at least 6' apart with a suggested 10' apart
  • Have the players put their equipment 6 feet apart from each other outside of the dugout. (No players can use the dugouts)
  • Arrive no earlier than 15 minutes before your clinic time
  • As a parent you should drop off your player and not attend the clinic unless 100% necessary.  If you must please bring a portable chair.  Parents and Coaches must wear masks at ALL TIMES.

OTHER INFO
  • The Snack Shack will be closed.
  • The league will not be providing catching equipment including gloves and masks.
  • No parking on the drop-off curb and must park in a spot (unlike the regular season when you can park on the white curb).
