Umpires

Who can umpire?
Umpiring is open to anyone ages 13+. To become an umpire, you must attend the FREE umpire training classes that begin in January. We take great pride in our umpire development program that is conducted by our Chief and senior umpires who mentor our youth umps. First-year umpires will generally umpire Shetland and Pinto National games. Second-year umpires will generally umpire Shetland to Mustang National. Third-year+ umpires will umpire divisions according to their ability.

New umpires must purchase their jersey, cap, ball bag and clicker but will be reimbursed by the League after they umpire five games.
